L=15’ B=60’ H=0.5’

For the plain cement concrete work grade is concrete use M15 i.e Carecteristic strength of 15N/mm2

Ratio of Cement = 1 : 2 : 4

1 part – Cement , 2 part- Sand, 3part- Aggregate

Total Ratio- 7

Total volume of Slab (V)-

V= LxBxH = 15x16x0.5

V= 450 Cft

Wet volume = Dry volume

Dry volume = wet volume x 1.54

Dry volume = 1.54 x 450

                    = 693 Cft

Volume of Cement-

Volume of cement = Ratio of Cement/Total ratio x Dry volume

Ratio of cement = 1

Total ratio = 7

Dry volume = 693

Volume of cemet = 1/7 x 693 = 99 Cft

No. of Cement = Volume of cement/Volume of 1 bag cement

                        = 99/1.22 = 81 Bag

Volume of Sand-

Volume of sand = Ratio of sand / total ratio x dry volume

Ratio of sand – 2

Total ratio – 7

Dry volime – 693

 Required Volume of sand = 2/7 x 693 

                                        =  198 Cft

Volume of Aggregate-

Volume of Aggregate = Ratio of Aggregate / total ratio x dry volume

Ratio of sand – 4

Total ratio – 7

Dry volime – 693

Required Volume of Aggregate = 4/7 x 693 = 396 Cft
